The Tandem Race was created in 2022 with the objective of offering a sporting event where ALL community members can participate actively, regardless of their level of athletic ability.

 

La Course Tandem is the first inclusive running event in the Prescott-Russell region. The third edition of the race will take place on Sunday, June 29th, 2024 in Clarence-Rockland.

 

The spirit of the race is to move forward until you reach the goal: the finish line. Whether you are walking, running or rolling, the important thing is keeping this perseverance intact which makes us discover our true nature: the capacity that we all have within us to face a challenge.

 

In an inclusive setting where everyone goes at their own pace, the 2nd edition of the Tandem Run invites participants to take on a personal challenge and share it with another person in the community.

The Tandem Race is a FREE event organized as part of the Clarence-Rockland Festival, in partnership with Carl Grimard, the City of Clarence-Rockland and the Valoris Foundation. Its objective is to use traditional sports as a platform to promote integration and foster the inclusion of all members of our community.
